Aakash Chopra has predicted the winner of the second qualifier between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals in Sharjah. KKR have win three games straight in Sharjah heading into this contest. Capitals meanwhile lost the first qualifier against CSK who have already qualified for the playoffs. While DC are coming into the match after suffering defeats in their last two matches, KKR have the winning momentum.

Talking about qualifier 2 on his official Youtube Channel, Aakash Chopra has predicted KKR to beat Delhi Capitals and advance through to the finals.

KKR To Win Qualifier 2: Aakash Chopra

“I am saying Kolkata will win. I feel Delhi’s campaign will end today, you will not be able to win the match today. You will bid goodbye to this tournament because of self-goals and unforced errors again. There was no reason for you to not score 180 that day and there was no reason for you to not defend that total with one over of Rabada left. Sharjah’s ground is not going to suit your game.”

Further during his prediction, Chopra said that there will be one stumping in the game. This means that either Dinesh Karthik or Rishabh Pant will get one stumping against his name. “One batter will be stumped out. Why? I don’t know” said Chopra.

The former Indian batsman further said that the spinners from both teams will more than five wickets in this game. Both teams have quality spinners in their ranks and Chopra feels they will decide the fate of the game. Aakash Chopra also feels the left-handed openers will outscore the right-handed ones.

“Left-handed openers to score more runs than right-handed openers. That means Shikhar Dhawan and Venkatesh Iyer will score more runs than Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw” he said.
