The KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings (PBKS) are all set to take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday, September 21. Before they resume their IPL 2021 campaign, Rahul has shared his excitement to be in action again.
The Punjab-based franchise has recently shared a video on their social media handles, where KL Rahul and co. were seen preparing for their first fixture of the UAE. KL Rahul also said that he was delighted to return with the team. Furthermore, he has pointed out that it was good to see the squad’s newest players as well as their regular players.
“I am very happy to be back with the boys. It is nice to see some new faces and faces that have been a part of us for the last couple of years. So very happy that I am back and we can get started,” he said.

However, KL Rahul was seen timing the ball well while batting in the nets and would love to maintain his sublime form for Punjab in the second half of the IPL 2021 as well.

However, KL Rahul amassed 331 runs from seven matches in the first leg of the Indian Premier League, in which he scored the fifties on four occasions. The opener will hope to do well in the UAE as well as to keep his side in the race of qualifying for the all-important playoffs.

Meanwhile, they have won just three games from eight fixtures so far this season, and Punjab Kings are placing in the bottom half of the IPL 2021 points table as well. They are currently placed second from the bottom position and hence it is important for Punjab Kings to get off to a flying start this time around so that they have the hope of qualifying.
