IPL 2021: “Same Ground, Same Vibe, And We Want Same Result” – Krunal Pandya Talks About His Preparation

Mumbai Indians all-rounder Krunal Pandya has opened up about his preparations ahead of the second phase of IPL 2021, slated to commence on September 19 in the UAE. Krunal stated that he is not looking long-term and wants to trust the process.

Speaking in a Mumbai Indians (MI) TV clip, Krunal Pandya highlighted that his sole focus is to get better each and every day. The Baroda-born all-rounder stated:

“I don’t think long-term in terms of where I want to go. With everything, with my preparation, with my goals, whatever it is. I just take one day at a time and focus on that particular day that what I want to get out from that particular session. My focus is always on how I can get better. 

Meanwhile, Krunal Pandya didn’t had the best of seasons in the first half of IPL 2021. He has picked up only three wickets and scored 100 runs so far in the competition and will look to produce a better show when the tournament resumes.

Mumbai Indians sit fourth in the IPL 2021 points table

Defending champions Mumbai Indians find themselves fourth in the points table with eight points under their belt from seven matches. They will have to pull up their socks when the tournament resumes.

The onus will be on senior cricketers like Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah, and captain Rohit Sharma to deliver the goods.

Mumbai Indians will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings when the tournament resumes on September 19 in Dubai.
