Suresh Raina was found short on the second run 18th over to bring Kolkata Knight Riders back into the game in Abu Dhabi. Raina struggled to get back into the crease with an accurate throw from Rahul Tripathi. However, a cameo from Ravindra Jadeja helped CSK beat KKR in the game with him scoring 22 from Prasidh Krishna’s final over.
MS Dhoni played the ball from Varun Chakravarty down to long-off and went off for the run. However, Raina could not return back for the second run and was found at least a yard short.

Finally, CSK won the match off the final delivery of Sunil Narine’s over with him trying to defend four runs in the 20th over. Deepak Chaha took one iff the last-ball much to the relief of CSK who at one point looked all but lost after MS Dhoni’s wicket.
The 22-run 19th over from Prasidh Krishna made all the difference with CSK struggling to score runs off the final over. Meanwhile, this win takes CSK to the top of the points table as KKR lose after winning two back to back games.

The game went right down the wire with the KKR spinners taking key wickets in the final overs and. At one point KKR looked all set to win the game but CSK came back through Ravindra Jadeja who after 1 for 21 scored 22 off to win the game for his side.
