The 4th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) will be Rajasthan Royals taking charge against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rajasthan Royals (RR) previously stated intention to bat Riyan Parag at No. 1 is uncertain, according to Aakash Chopra. SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), in their IPL 2023 matchup, by a score of 4.

On Sunday, April 2, the two teams will square off in Hyderabad during the afternoon match. Last season, the Royals defeated SRH by a score of 61 runs, and they will look to repeat that performance this time around.

Chopra identified the top six players for the Rajasthan Royals in a video that was posted to his YouTube channel: Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Devdutt Padikkal, Riyan Parag, and Shimron Hetmyer. He questioned whether Kumar Sangakkara would stick to his original plan to bat Parag at No. 4, stating.

IPL 2023

“To make room for the Assam all-rounder at No. 1, the former Indian opener believes Sanju Samson shouldn’t be dropped in the batting order. 4 – Reasoning. You should play Sanju higher in the lineup because of his strong history against this team. Because he is also the captain, he should not play lower than No. 3 but we’ll find out.”

Chopra believes Prasidh Krishna’s absence will be a significant blow to the Rajasthan Royals’ bowling.

Aakash Chopra on Aiden Markram’s non-availability for SRH’s IPL 2023 opening match: “That’s not a good story.”

The absence of Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen will be a setback for the SunRisers Hyderabad, according to Aakash Chopra. He chose the four international players that the 2016 IPL champions could use in their starting lineup, adding.

“Markram isn’t accessible. The captain is not readily available. It’s a bad story, that one. Heinrich Klaasen won’t be there either. That means there will be more issues. Harry Brook, Glenn Phillips, Adil Rashid, and Fazalhaq Farooqi are the candidates for their four out-of-country roles, respectively. Marco Jansen can also be cast in that role now.”

The cricketer-turned-commentator felt Mayank Agarwal could duplicate Ruturaj Gaikwad’s performance with the bat when naming an Indian top three in the batting order, stating:

“Rahul Tripathi, Mayank Agarwal, and Abhishek Sharma can be in your top three. Mayank Agarwal contributed runs to the friendly game and has previously excelled in first-class cricket. Because Ruturaj Gaikwad had such a good day and performed well in first class as well, Mayank may start strong.”
