IPL 2023: Deepak Hooda Not Having The Best Time In The Tournament

Deepak Hooda is not having the best time in Indian Premier League 2023. The 28 year old all rounder has a hundred to his in T20 Internationals. Lucknow Super Giants lost against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 18 runs in a heated encounter.

Deepak Hooda is having a rough season and is constantly failing to find his mojo. Hooda was a solid batsman last season, which is a different story altogether this time.

Deepak Hooda has scored just 53 runs in nine innings for LSG in IPL 2023. He is having a hard time with the bat. Hooda is averaging only 6.62 and it is a big concern for Lucknow Super Giants.

Deepak Hooda is a brilliant all-rounder and has superb six hitting abilities, he can clear the fence with ease. The Lucknow All rounder just needs to find the lost rhythm.

Ravi Bishnoi on Deepak Hooda

Hooda scored 459 runs in IPL 2022 for Lucknow with a decent average of 32.20. His Lucknow Teammate Bishnoi said “He is a good player. He has done well for India and for us in the last season. He is going through a rough patch and I am sure he will come back stronger”

“It was a chasable score. Injury to KL Rahul was a setback, we lost one batter and then we played a few poor shots as well,”
Bishnoi further said “Sometimes, you can’t change 130 on a good surface. We will have to play on the given wicket, it is not in our hands. We need to adapt and do well,”

Lucknow faces Chennai on 3rd May in an afternoon game. Chennai Super Kings are in 4th position and will look to register a win against Lucknow on 3rd May.

Deepak Hooda was part of the 2016 Hyderabad squad that lifted the prestigious trophy. The LSG vs CSK clash will be a mouth watering one as both teams are eager to get to 12 points mark
