At the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Chennai on Wednesday, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will play in the IPL 2023 elimination round. LSG earned 17 points from 14 games to place third in the league.
Mumbai Indians (MI), who have won five championships, came in fourth with 16 points after 14 games. While MI’s most recent match saw them defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by an eight-wicket margin, LSG had won their previous three games.

Nicholas Pooran: The West Indies have scored the third-most runs for LSG this season. He has so far scored 358 runs in 14 games with an average of 32 points and a strike rate of 173 points. Rohit Sharma: The Mumbai Indians (MI) haven’t been in the best of forms, but he is a big match player and could become the biggest threat for LSG. In his most recent game against LSG, he scored 37 points off of 25.
He scored the game-winning 56 off 37 balls in the final, must-win match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Rohit has scored 313 runs at an average of 22 points and a strike rate of 134 points through 14 IPL 2023 games so far.
In three games against LSG, Rohit scored 82 runs at an average of 27.33 and a strike rate of 130.15. Rohit has scored 353 runs in 14 games in Chennai, with an average of 27 points and a strike rate of 124 points.
Suryakumar Yadav: The right-handed batter would like to lead his team in runs once more. Suryakumar Yadav currently leads his team in runs scored. He has scored 511 runs in 14 games, averaging 42.58 and striking out at a rate of 185.14.
Suryakumar has scored 25*, 7, 103*, 83 and 26 in the last five innings. Last week, seven runs were scored against LSG. He has participated in nine games in Chennai and scored 267 runs overall, averaging 38 points per game and 127 points per hundred. He has played against CSK in 17 games and amassed 340 runs at an average of 26.15 and a strike rate of 117.24.
