Jitesh Sharma tried to pull the game back for Punjab but couldn’t win it for PBKS. Punjab Kings did not look comfortable after losing 4 wickets in the powerplay, their running between the wickets was not up to the mark. Punjab Kings suffered two run-outs in the form of Harpreet Singh and Sam Curran.

Sehwag on Sam Curran’s run-out

Former Indian Batsman lashed out at Sam Curran for the run-out. Sam Curran was well short of the crease and looked lazy while taking a single. Hasranga hit the stumps on target and got the PBKS captain.

“He’s an international player. But you can’t buy experience with 18 crores. It only comes when you play, when your hair turns white as you play under the hot sun,” Sehwag told Cricbuzz.

The former PBKS player added “We think just because he was bought for 18 crores, he will win you matches. But he doesn’t have that experience yet. It was poor running, there was no need for that. You’re captain, you should’ve stayed, tried to take it to the final overs. But again, the lack of experience cost him,”
