IPL 2023: Gautam Gambhir Helps Former Indian Cricketer’s Mother-In-Law Undergo Surgery

Gautam Gambhir’s recent spat with Virat Kohli during IPL 2023 has been the talk of the town. But little does everyone know about the classy act of Gambhir off the field. However, Gautam Gambhir helped Rahul Sharma’s mother-in-law who was suffering from a brain haemorrhage.

Rahul Sharma has represented Pune Warriors India, Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League.

 

Rahul Sharma took to Instragam to thank former India opener, Gautam Gambhir. He has also represented India A. He retired from all forms of cricket in August 2022. He also shared pictures of his mother-in-law recovering from the surgery.

Rahul Sharma was a leg spinner and has played 4 ODIs for India. He has 6 wickets for India in ODIs and 2 in T20Is. The leg spinner has 40 wickets in the Indian Premier League.

“Last month was very difficult, my mother-in-law had a brain hemorrhage. She was in critical condition. Thank you Gautam Gambhir paji and his PA Gaurav Arora who helped me in such a difficult time. He provided the best neurologist and hospital in a short time and surgery has been done successfully. Now she is absolutely fine,” Rahul Sharma wrote on Twitter.

He also thanked the hospital staff. His mother-in-law was in a critical condition and the much-needed surgery went successfully for her.

Lucknow Super Giants are in 3rd position in the points table. Gautam Gambhir and his team will look to finish in the top 4 to qualify for the playoffs. Gautam Gambhir is very helpful and does not hesitate a bit to help others. He has always been a helping hand to many young cricketers and many others.
