Royal Challengers Bangalore matches are no short of excitement and drama. Over the years, Royal Challengers Bangalore have played very good cricket and reached playoffs on the last 3 occasions. The Team is known to play bold and has millions of fans around the world.

The Tagline of Royal Challengers Bangalore, ‘PLAY BOLD’ has come from one of the icons of this team. The ‘PLAY BOLD’ tagline for the team came from Virat Kohli, believes Kedar Jadhav.

He is the kind of character who wears his heart on his sleeves. His energy on the field is unmatched and is the biggest crowd-puller in RCB matches as well. The teammates’ morale gets boosted with this kind of character which helps in better results on the field.

Virat Kohli has been with the RCB franchise since 2008, and he also believes that he cannot see himself playing for any other franchise other than RCB.

Kedar Jadhav shares his views on the ‘PLAY BOLD’ tagline

Kedhar Jadhav recently revealed that play bold represents the aggression and intensity of Virat Kohli on the field.

“That is the tagline of RCB — play bold (and) I think it came from only Virat Kohli. He has a strong personality, and likes to lead from the front. Whatever it is, batting or bowling, he wants to contribute in winning games whichever teams he plays for,” Jadhav said, as quoted by PTI.

“It definitely rubs off on the team. The players want to perform close to that level, or close to that intensity he brings in, in his batting or when he is doing practice,” he further added.

Virat Kohli has maintained his good form in IPL 2023, but certain questions were raised on his strike rate after RCB lost to Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
