IPL returns to Chepauk after a long wait of 4 years. Chennai’s poster boy, the main man for Chennai Super Kings; MS Dhoni returns to his den. The tickets for the first game at Chepauk were sold out within minutes. Chennai Super Kings have a solid record at Chepauk. A Jam packed crowd is expected for the CSK vs LSG match.

“It does mean a lot to be back here. IPL started in 2008 but we’ve not played a lot of cricket here, only about 5-6 seasons we’ve been here. This is the first time the full stadium will be operational. A few stands were empty earlier. we are glad that we get to play all our home games here at Chepauk. It means a lot.” Dhoni said at the toss for the match against Lucknow Super Giants.

This could be the last IPL for MS Dhoni

The Chennai Fans have waited long to see ‘Thala’ at Chepauk, and today is the end to a long-awaited return of Dhoni. Chennai Super Kings will make the most of this season, considering this is Dhoni’s last IPL. Chennai Super Kings will miss the services of Dhoni after he finally calls it a day, his last match is most probably going to be at Chepauk and fans will be eager to bid farewell to their favourite player.

No Chennai fan will miss this chance to see MS Dhoni for the last time at Chepauk. Fans will make it all worthwhile for Thala when he plays his final game here at Chepauk. MS and his men will be looking to register their first win of the season at Chepauk today. The Hype of today’s match is extra, as the whole Chepauk will look like a yellow sea to witness Thala and his men in action.
