“I’m impressed by the composure and patience shown by Mohsin Khan in that last over. Not an easy task even for an experienced bowler. Saw some really good performances from him in the last season as well. Definitely a one for the future.”

The mindset was to bowl six good deliveries: Mohsin Khan

Lucknow Super Giants bowler Mohsin Khan opened up about his final over against the Mumbai Indians in the 2023 Indian Premier League. He acknowledged that there was pressure to bowl the final over, but his mindset was to bowl six good deliveries. Mohsin Khan said,

“Obviously there was pressure as I was bowling the last over. But I had a conversation with the captain and he told me to follow what I was doing during practice and I backed it. I wasn’t looking at how many runs they required in the end. My mindset was that I needed to bowl six good deliveries and I was able to do that.”

“I had confidence in my skills and I was backing myself. The ball was reversing a bit as well,” he added.
