At the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, Royal Challengers Bangalore will play host to Delhi Capitals in game 20 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season.
DC’s season has gotten off to a terrible start, as they’ve lost their first four games. With only one victory in three games, RCB is coming off a heartbreaking one-wicket loss.
The player battles are listed below:
1. Virat Kohli Vs Khaleel Ahmed
In their respective departments’ opening statements, RCB’s Virat Kohli and DC’s Khaleel Ahmed are destined to square off against one another. Khaleel would try to take advantage of the fact that away-going deliveries have previously bothered Kohli.
In two innings, the rookie left-arm pacer has already ejected the RCB star once. However, Kohli has been aggressive in his opposition, scoring 17 runs off of 10 balls.
2. Kuldeep Yadav Vs Glenn Maxwell
In his previous game against the Lucknow Super Giants, Glenn Maxwell hit a brilliant 59. He would be eager to repeat his feats of valour. Aiming to thwart his plans is Kuldeep Yadav.
Three times in as many IPL matches, the left-arm wrist-spinner has dismissed Maxwell. But the Australian has been very aggressive in his approach to him, scoring 59 runs off just 21 balls.
3. Mohammed Siraj Vs David Warner
David Warner has contributed runs this season despite not scoring frequently. The DC captain will be targeted for cheap dismissal by Mohammed Siraj, who plays with the new ball.
In four IPL encounters, Warner has been victimized by him once.
He has, however, amassed runs against the pacer at 182 points and 60. Their powerplay over battle can be very alluring.
4. Harshal Patel Vs Axar Patel
Axar Patel, the vice-captain of DC, has excelled this season in the finisher’s role. In the upcoming match, he would face off against Harshal Patel’s variety of plays.
As Axar has scored 16 runs against him off of 11 deliveries, the two haven’t faced each other very frequently in the IPL.
With left-handed batters in the IPL, Harshal has a 9.59 economy rate.
