During the Indian Premier League match between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, Naveen-ul-Haq once again stole the show.
Following their on-field altercation during the match against RCB at the MA Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Afghan pacer has been in the news. Since they kept calling him Virat Kohli’s name when he came to bowl, Naveen has had to deal with the wrath of Eden Garden supporters.
When Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s teammate Ravi Bishnoi caught him in the 14th over, the Afghan pacer retaliated against the crowd. Naveen asked the crowd at Eden Gardens to be quiet while placing a finger to his lips.
While earlier, during the Mumbai Indians game at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, he was made fun of by the home crowd. They slyly started chanting “Kohli, Kohli” from the stands when Naveen found himself near the boundary while fielding on the ground.

During the second innings of the game, Kohli and LSG pacer Naveen got into a physical altercation on the field, which is how it all began. During the post-game formalities after RCB earned the available points, the Afghanistan pacer was also seen engaging in an animated exchange.
Before LSG coach Gautam Gambhir escorted the West Indies all-rounder out of the field, Kohli was also seen engaging in verbal conversation with Kyle Mayers. But when Gambhir confronted Kohli, the situation deteriorated and a fight broke out.
