IPL 2023 Watch: Sachin Tendulkar And Rohit Sharma Reacted To Cameron Green’s First IPL Century

Cameron Green slammed a brilliant century. Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma were unable to contain their excitement.

At the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad with a commanding 8-wicket victory thanks to Cameron Green’s first IPL century.

Mumbai Indians moved up to fourth place and maintained their chances of making the playoffs with the victory over SRH.

Green became the third foreign player to do so for the five-time champion Mumbai Indians and the sixth Mumbai Indians batter to score a century in the IPL.

Green led MI in scoring with 100 off 47, while captain Rohit Sharma played an incredible 56 off 37. Both Mayank Dagar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar secured one wicket for SRH.

Mumbai Indians lost Ishan Kishan in the third over of the game while attempting to chase down a target of 201. Kishan was their star opener. The swashbuckling duo of Cameron Green and Rohit Sharma slammed SRH bowlers all over the stadium.

In the game’s ninth over, Green slammed a 20-ball fifty. For 19 runs, Green and Rohit smoked Vivrant Sharma. While Green continued to score runs, Rohit reached his half-century in 32 balls.

Rohit added to the destruction by smashing three consecutive fours off Umran Malik’s over as a pacer. In the game’s eleventh over, the dynamic pair stitched together a 100-run partnership.

Green scored one run in the 18th over to complete his first-ever century and led his team to an 8-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In the nine and a half overs, the young batsman Vivrant scored his first fifty runs off 36 balls. MI’s worries grew as both of the openers batted well in the middle, scoring 100 runs in just 11 overs.

Vivrant was dismissed by Akash Madhwal in 13 points in five overs after playing an excellent inning of 69 off 47 balls. He hit two sixes and nine fours during his innings.

When Madhwal struck out two batters in a row in his 19th over. MI made a stunning comeback. After firing Harry Brook on a duck, he fired Heinrich Klaasen at the age of 18.

SRH scored a massive total of 200/5 in 20 overs after hitting the final ball for six. Aiden Markram scored a 13 and Sanvir Singh a 4.

The best bowler was Akash Madhwal. Who struck out four batters while only giving up 37 runs. A wicket could be taken by Jordan as well.
