IPL 2023: Wishes Pour In As Rohit Sharma Celebrates His 36th Birthday

India and Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma turned 36 on Sunday. On Rohit’s birthday, wishes poured in from everyone including players and teammates like Yuzvendra Chahal, Yuvraj Singh, Kaif and to name a few.

However, Rohit is the most successful captain in the history of the Indian Premier League. He won the championship five times while representing the Mumbai Indians. Since 2021, Rohit has been the Indian team’s full-time captain. Last year, he led his team to the T20 World Cup semifinal.

Numerous Indian cricketers took to their official social media accounts to wish the star opener happy birthday as Rohit turned 36.

Here is how everyone wishes Rohit Sharma:

It has been a pleasure watching you grow as a person, a cricketer and a devoted family man! ”Wishing you continued success in your life and career,” wrote former India pace bowler Zaheer Khan, who has worked with Rohit at Mumbai Indians.

Dinesh Karthik, an inspiring comeback story for the Indian team last year under Rohit’s captaincy, wished Rohit on his Twitter page. ”Many happy returns of the day to you, Sham,” wrote Karthik. ”Giving that kiss right back to you”.

Yuvraj Singh, a legendary former all-rounder who was one of the more experienced players in the dressing room when Rohit first joined the Indian team, wrote on his birthday, “Happy birthday brotherman from being a youngster in the team when I first met you to now leading the team, you’ve done well and should feel proud of how far you’ve come. Hope you score tons of runs & bring home loads of trophies this year! Lots of love “.

Suresh Raina, another ex-teammate of Rohit’s from India, also sent him a tweet of congratulations. Happy birthday, bro @ImRo45 dot. I send you my best wishes for success, happiness and good health.  Great to see you develop into a great leader, brother,” Raina wrote.

Star Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal sent Rohit a heartfelt birthday greeting. Happy birthday to my favourite and best brother in the entire world, @ImRo45. Also happy birthday to my best friend, my compass and the person who makes me laugh the most in the entire world. “Happy Birthday, Rohita Sharma,” wrote Chahal.

The India captain received many well wishes from cricket players as well.

The Mumbai Indians will play again later on Sunday night when they take on the Rajasthan Royals. The team will be trying to avoid suffering its third straight defeat in the current season.
