Here we look at the 5 players from the eliminated teams in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 who could earn big money in IPL 2024.

  1. Arslan Khan (Chandigarh)

Arslan Khan has been the star of the show in the league stage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023. Chandigarh finished 5th in Group C including Haryana, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Mizoram, and Bihar. They won 3 matches and lost 4 with 12 points.

Arslan Khan is the leading run-getter in the tournament with 508 runs from 7 matches (7 innings) including 2 centuries and 4 half-centuries to his name including the best score of 131. He could earn a big-money contract during the IPL 2024 auction.

Arslan can time the ball and put pressure back on the bowlers as IPL franchises would look to purchase him. His performances in the league stage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 could see him go for big money.

  1. Tanmay Agarwal (Hyderabad)

Before the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 tournament, Tanmay Agarwal was removed from the captaincy in favor of Rahul Singh Gahlaut. Hyderabad finished 4th in the points table with 4 wins and 3 losses in the league stage.

Tanmay Agarwal had a brilliant season for Hyderabad in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 league stage with 439 runs from 7 matches (7 innings) including 2 centuries and 1 half-century to his name. Hyderabad could not qualify for the knockout stage, but his performance looked impressive.

Agarwal has been with the team for Sunrisers Hyderabad previously but has not made his debut in the IPL yet. He may get a chance to feature in IPL if any of the franchises would grab him during the upcoming auction.

  1. Kartikeya Kak (Hyderabad)

Kartikeya Kak is a decent pace bowler from Hyderabad who impressed one and all in the Vijay Hazare Trophy league stage. He showed his class with five-wicket hauls against Maharashtra but could not help Hyderabad to qualify for the knockout stage.

He deserves to be grabbed by any franchise during the upcoming IPL auction to take place on 19th December 2023. Kak took a total of 16 wickets from 7 matches (7 innings) at an economy of 4.71 runs per over including figures of 5 for 36.

Kak can swing the ball and can extract bounce which makes him a tough bowler to face. He has experience of staying with Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the past.

  1. Manisankar Murasingh (Tripura)

Manisankar Murasingh has been the backbone of the Tripura side for a long time. Tripura had a brilliant outing during the league stage of this tournament narrowly missing the knockout stage defeating the strong Mumbai side.

Murasingh is a decent medium-pace bowler who can use the cutters well and could put pressure on the batters with a stump-to-stump line. He could be bought by the IPL franchise for bowling abilities during the upcoming auction.

  1. Debabrata Pradhan (Odisha)

Debabrata Pradhan is an all-rounder who can bowl well and also can use the long handle coming lower down the order. Odisha could not qualify for the knockout stage this season. He was the bright spot with 18 wickets from 7 matches (7 innings) at an economy of 3.63 runs per over and figures of 4 for 14.

He could be bought by the IPL franchises during the upcoming auction that will take place on 19th December. They finished 6th in the points table with 4 wins and 3 losses including a big win over Mumbai.

Pradhan could be an ideal option for the teams that lack genuine Indian all-rounders. His performances would look to franchises buying him his superb performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023.
