Mohammed Kaif

Former Assistant coach of the Delhi Capitals, Mohammed Kaif feels the franchise needs to back their identity talent and back them properly. He expressed that they have failed to back the players to deliver in the last few seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Delhi Capitals finished ninth on the points table in the 2023 Indian Premier League season. They won only five matches and lost nine. Mohammed Kaif, who has worked as an Assistant coach with the franchise feels that they need to find their top players and give them consistent chances in the tournament. Speaking to Lallantop in an interview, Mohammed Kaif said,

“When I was there, we went to the final in one season and finished top three in the other two seasons. I think the players are not getting backed properly. They are not able to identify players and back them. You can ask the same question of RCB.”
