Gujarat Titans stunned Punjab Kings in a thrilling 3 wicket win while Delhi Capitals stunned Lucknow Super Giants by 7 wickets.

Delhi Capitals will miss the service of Mitchell Marsh due to an injury. It promises to be an exciting contest between these two teams.

Both teams have quality players who can change the course of the game with their abilities.

Here we look at the 3 player battles between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals:

  1. Shubman Gill vs Khaleel Ahmed

Shubman Gill led from the front in the previous match against Rajasthan Royals. He showed tremendous intent to put pressure on opponent bowlers. It was a superb innings by Gill scoring 72 that laid a strong foundation for GT win.

On the other hand, Khaleel Ahmed looked impressive picking early wickets that put pressure on Lucknow Super Giants batters. It will be an interesting battle in the first six overs that will decide the fate of the match.

Khaleel Ahmed would be eager to pick the wicket of Shubman Gill in the first six overs to put pressure on GT’s batting lineup.

  1. David Warner vs Umesh Yadav

David Warner struggled badly with his batting in the previous match against Lucknow Super Giants. He would be looking to prove his worth with a superb knock in the first six overs and put GT bowlers under pressure.

On the other hand, Umesh Yadav took the wicket of Jaiswal. Umesh has dismissed Warner 5 times in IPL history and would be looking to do the same again, breaking the backbone of the DC batting lineup.

Warner would be eager to attack Umesh in the first six overs which might decide the fate of the match.

  1.  Rishabh Pant vs Rashid Khan

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant had a great outing in the previous match against Lucknow Super Giants. He showed intent against spinners and made sure that DC scored runs at a quick pace. On the other hand, Rashid Khan was impressive with 1 for 18 in 4 overs.

Pant would be eager to continue his superb form. His battle with Rashid Khan in the middle overs might decide the fate of the match.
