IPL 2024: [WATCH]- Rohit Sharma Playfully Mimics Indian Cricket Icons At Mumbai Indians’ Practice

Rohit Sharma was observed mimicking Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, Harbhajan Singh, and Zaheer Khan. Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are widely regarded as among the finest batsmen in cricket history.

Tendulkar, known as the “God of Cricket,” boasts a remarkable career spanning over two decades, marked by records, exceptional technique, and unwavering dedication.

Dravid, nicknamed “The Wall,” is celebrated for his resilience and solid batting style, embodying grace both in and out of the game. Similarly, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and pacer Zaheer Khan also deserve recognition.

Harbhajan, known as the “Turbanator,” was a top-tier spin bowler, renowned for his crafty off-spin and relentless determination, often turning the tide of matches in India’s favour.

Zaheer, recognized for his skill in swinging the ball and providing crucial breakthroughs, played a crucial role in India’s successes in both Test and ODI formats.

In a video circulating widely on X, Rohit Sharma was captured playfully imitating the aforementioned Indian cricket legends, bringing the practice session to a cheerful close before the upcoming match.

Beginning with Sachin, Rohit Sharma was seen positioned sideways to the camera, replicating Sachin’s iconic stance and elegantly executing one of his signature shots, the straight drive.

As Rohit moved on to Dravid, he was seen tapping the ground with his bat, copying Dravid’s usual practice, which reminded viewers of Dravid’s calm attitude while batting for long periods.

When it was Harbhajan’s turn, he lightheartedly performed in front of the camera, imitating Harbhajan’s stretches before showcasing his bowling action and follow-through.

Rohit’s imitation of Yuvraj Singh, the Player of the Tournament in the 2011 World Cup, was brief but humorous, depicting Yuvraj stylishly entering the field wearing sunglasses and directing imaginary fielders.

The sequence concluded with Rohit mimicking Zaheer Khan, running in to bowl left-handed and celebrating with his arms spread wide after taking a wicket.
