Shreyas Iyer Anchors PBKS to Victory
It was Shreyas Iyer, the captain, who also played his role as an important element in the winning cause of PBKS. Iyer steadily went about his work in registering 52 runs off 30 balls. His stroke blended well with Singh’s aggression, and he anchored the chase beautifully. Experience and leadership skills shone through as Iyer guided PBKS to a comfortable victory.
Ayush Badoni Fights Hard for LSG
Among the few batsmen who differentiated themselves for LSG was Ayush Badoni. Badoni played a brave innings and scored much-needed runs for his side. His batting showed his talent and determination, dominating all but a few LSG batsmen as they fell to PBKS’ bowling. Although it might not have changed the face of the match, Badoni’s innings was surely a silver lining for LSG, who would now look forward to making a comeback after this loss.
