Kohli delighted the crowd by walking over and signing autographs, with some even managing to snap a quick photo with him. The cricketing icon had already made a strong start to IPL 2025 with a blazing knock in Kolkata last Sunday, adding to the excitement surrounding his presence.
Accompanied by security personnel, Kohli took his time to sign autographs for every fan in the stand. In a particularly touching moment, he signed a young fan’s T-shirt as the child, standing with his parents, looked on in awe at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

“This is a sign of a great player. He knows what he needs to do, and he understands the challenge ahead. He has been focusing on that. Getting a left-arm wrist-spinner to bowl at him in training is a good idea. The conditions in Chennai will be much tougher than in Kolkata, so training is crucial, and Virat Kohli is putting in the work.”
