Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) veteran Virat Kohli made a heartwarming gesture by taking time to engage with young fans, signing autographs after a practice session ahead of their IPL 2025 clash with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
The two sides are set to meet in the 59th match of the season on Friday, May 9, at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. As the 36-year-old returned to the dressing room post-practice, a group of young fans called out for his autograph. Kohli responded warmly, walking over to personally sign for them.

The Royal Challengers have been in impressive form during IPL 2025 under Rajat Patidar’s leadership, securing 16 points from 11 games and currently occupying the second spot on the points table.
Their next opponents, the Super Giants, are placed seventh with 10 points from 11 matches and need to win all of their remaining three fixtures to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Looking at their head-to-head history, the teams have clashed five times, with RCB holding a narrow 3-2 lead. They have met once in Lucknow, where RCB claimed an 18-run win during the 2023 season.

The seasoned opener has racked up 505 runs in 11 innings, boasting an impressive average of 63.12 and a strike rate of 143.46, including seven fifties.
He currently holds the fourth spot on the Orange Cap standings. Kohli will look to continue his fine form when RCB face the Lucknow Super Giants. However, his past performances against LSG haven’t been particularly notable, with just 139 runs in five innings at an average of 27.80.
