IPL Auction 2025: Full List Of Unsold Players

On the first day of the IPL 2025 mega auction, 84 cricketers’ names were called out by auctioneer Mallika Sagar, with 72 players finding new teams. Among the notable unsold names were David Warner and Devdutt Padikkal, while IPL stalwart Piyush Chawla also went without a bid.

Rishabh Pant made history by becoming the most expensive player ever sold at an IPL auction, with the Lucknow Super Giants securing the dynamic wicketkeeper-batter for a staggering ₹27 crore at the Abadi Al Johar arena in Jeddah on Monday. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer, the IPL 2024 title-winning captain, had set a new record by being sold to the Punjab Kings for ₹26.75 crore.

Following the auction of 33 capped players on Monday, an accelerated auction will take place, featuring both capped and uncapped players. Teams have been asked to submit 25 names each for this round of bidding.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore will enter the accelerated auction with the largest purse of ₹30.65 crore, followed by the Mumbai Indians with ₹26.10 crore and the Punjab Kings with ₹22.50 crore.
