5. Manoranjan Ka Baap
We take you back to 2008 when The TVC ‘Manoranjan ka Baap’ commercial entertained everyone and help people gain interest in IPL. Back then IPL was an unknown commodity and you needed a larger than life commercial to promote it all over the television.
The ‘Manoranjan ka Baap’ commercial did just and narrated a story of a family comprising a mother and her twin sons named Mano and Ranjan. Like a usual Bollywood movie this IPL commercial too had everything from suspense, drama and humour. In the climax of the commercial, the IPL was tagged at the ‘Manoranjan ka Baap’ which to date stands true all thanks to the famous commercial just before the first season of the IPL.

4. Bharat Bandh

This was just after India had won the 2011 world cup and the makers needed something special to once again gain the attention of the public. The ‘Bharat Band’ advertisement did just that as it showcased how everything will be closed again in the country when IPL takes centre stage again.
It also showed how Indians are deeply attached to Cricket and their work takes a back seat during the IPL. This was another successful IPL commercial that is remembered by the fans when IPL is around the corner.
3. Aisa Mauka Kaha Milega
The year was 2012 and IPL was fast becoming one of the biggest brands in the world. Sony max just before the tournament began released a foot-tapping song in which the show anchors as well as experts Navjot Singh Sidhu grabbed all the limelight.
The vibe of the IPL was just different back then as it was a combination of both cricket and entertainment which attached the fans with the tournament. Coming back to the song, the main purpose was to tell fans to never miss any action of the IPL and watch the tournament with their family, friends wherever they are.
2. Come On Bulava Aya
Another IPL commercial that was extremely popular was ‘Come On Bulava Aya Hai’ by Set Max. Once again the makers made an extremely fun song in which the well-appreciated show hosts and the experts were the stars and promoted the 2014 edition of the IPL.
