Team India is all set to play a 5-match Test series against England starting on August 4th. With just a couple of days left all the members of the Indian team are sweating it out in the net sessions. Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was seen training hard during these sessions.
Known to be a genuine match-winner with the ball for India, the right-arm pacer will look to add more wickets to his tally and give skipper Virat Kohli the breakthroughs whenever the team needs.
It is normal to see players wearing pads while batting but Jasprit Bumrah has done the incredible. The pace spearhead was seen bowling with his pads on. The BCCI posted the picture on its official Twitter account and wrote a fitting caption for the post. “He is having a really busy session in the nets. #TeamIndia #ENGvIND,” BCCI wrote in the caption of Jasprit Bumrah’s photo.

Jasprit Bumrah Will Be The Key
With the series beginning in just a few days, Jasprit Bumrah is going to be a key asset to the team. Burst onto the Test scene in the 2018 tour to South Africa, Bumrah in his so far short career has gone to be the leader of pace attack in no time. He has so far taken 83 wickets in just the 20 Tests.
The 27-year-old also has previous experience of touring England, and that will be very handy for India against the seam and swing conditions on offer. Much will depend on how Bumrah starts as with the wickets upfront, he tends to give India a head start for the spinners to come into play.
Bumrah will certainly look to do well after he had a poor outing against New Zealand in the World Test Championship Final. It will be interesting to watch how the Indian pacers bounce back in this series.
