“Jasprit Bumrah is a baby bowler infront of me”- Abdul Razzaq

Former Pakistani all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has caught the headlines after his comments on Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah. He said that he would have been unfazed by Bumrah”s bowling in his times.

Speaking to Cricket Pakistan Razzaq said, “After having faced world-class bowlers in my time, I would have had no problem against a bowler like Bumrah. The pressure would have been on him. I have played against great bowlers like Glenn Mcgrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him.”

Bumrah”s episode in Indian cricket has been a story by itself. He has been one of the most consistent bowlers in recent times. His rise in ICC rankings proves his mettle in the middle in any format of the game.

However, he lauded Bumrah on his successful stints.” He is doing very well and has improved a lot. He has an awkward action and hits the seam perfectly, which is why he is effective,” said Razzaq.

Jasprit Bumrah and his return

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah has been out of action for some time now. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation and is expected to be back for the kiwis” tour next year.

His recent Instagram posts suggest that he is hitting the nets and back to his ways of troubling the batsmen.

Can he help the side triumph at Newzealand conditions?
