Amid the ongoing lockdown due to the outbreak of COVID-19 cricketers are spending a lot of time on social media to engage with their fans and followers. In a recent Instagram live session with the cricket presenter Ridhima Pathak, she was asked if she could play under a male captain, who would be that one player.
Jemimah Rodrigues was quick to pick MS Dhoni and also revealed that it was her fantasy to play under the leadership of the 38-year-old legendary cricketer. However, she is not sure whether that will possible or not in this life.

“None other than MS Dhoni. You have grown up watching him and what he did in the World Cups, winning those two World Cups. We have heard so much in interviews and so many people say that they have never seen a captain like MS Dhoni. So, it’s always like a fantasy that one day I’ll get to play under him, but I don’t know if that’s possible,” said Jemimah.
Jemimah Rodrigues was a part of the recently concluded ICC Women’s T20 World Cup where India lost to host Australia in the finals. The young batter didn’t had a great tournament and will hope to bounce back soon and lead her country from the front.
