Joe Denly took an absolute stunner to dismiss Australian skipper Tim Paine in the second Ashes Test. His flexibility on the field was well depicted with this catch. Fielding at square leg, Paine played a rash shot when the team was in a mission to save the game. Denly made sure to brighten up the chance of winning at Lord’s with the spectacular catch.
The English bowlers put a lot of pressure on the Kangaroo batting line-up. With a target of 267 in hand, the visitors were set to save the match in the remaining 50 overs. In an attempt to save the game, the batsmen had a lot of hiccups in the middle. Though they were falling apart from one end, the stand between Labuschagne and Travis Head helped Aussies to end on a draw at 154/6.
Jofra Archer, the much-spoken bowler in the recent times had a memorable test debut. His pace was too hot to handle as the batsmen crumbled in the middle. Additionally, it also injured Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne also, who was named as the concussion substitute for the former.
