Kagiso Rabada has a message after clinching Six CSA awards

There were times when entire South African cricket was in deep tatters as they hadn”t had an aggressive pacer other than Dale Steyn. Then came Vernon Philander who was his partner to bowl in tandem and they made sure to trouble the opposition irrespective of the venue.

Morne Morkel was one of the other bowlers who assisted the duo to finish the honours. In later stages, Dale Steyn couldn”t be a permanent member in the longer formats of the game due to injury concerns. Then came this youngster who came out in flying colours after winning the Under 19 world Cup in Markram”s captaincy.

Kagiso Rabada has been an asset to the squad in all formats of the game as he singles handily won the matches for some time now. The youngster was adjudged the Man of the series in the controversial series against Australia as he ripped their top order apart.

In the recently concluded Cricket Southafrica awards, the 23-year-old bowler bagged as many as six awards. He shared a message in the Twitter handle yesterday and expressed his excitement to be back on the field soon. It is to be noted that he won a truckload of awards in 2016 also.

The World No.1 bowler wasn”t able to feature in the Delhi Daredevils squad due to an injury. He is expected to be back in the home series against Srilanka in July. It will be really interesting to watch the trio of Rabada, Steyn and Philander if they are declared fit.
