The match, which took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, witnessed SunRisers Hyderabad deliver a commanding performance, securing victory by a substantial 10-wicket margin in an IPL 2024 encounter. The match unfolded with SunRisers Hyderabad showcasing disciplined bowling, effectively restricting Lucknow Super Giants, led by KL Rahul, to a total of 165 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs.

KL Rahul Amazed by SunRisers Hyderabad’s Spectacular Batting Display

The dominant batting display from SunRisers Hyderabad left LSG captain KL Rahul awestruck, who admitted to being at a loss for words in the face of such exceptional batting prowess.

“I am lost for words. We have watched that kind of batting on TV. But this is unreal batting,” remarked Rahul, acknowledging the sheer brilliance of SunRisers Hyderabad’s batting performance. Expressing admiration for the impeccable timing and execution displayed by the opposition batsmen, Rahul commended their dedication to honing their six-hitting abilities.

He conceded that SunRisers Hyderabad’s aggressive approach from the outset made it challenging for Lucknow Super Giants to gain any semblance of control or momentum in the match. Reflecting on his team’s performance, Rahul lamented the missed opportunities and acknowledged the deficit in their total score.

“Was hard to stop them as they teed off from ball one. Once you are on the losing side, there are question marks on the decisions taken. We were 40-50 runs short,” admitted Rahul, acknowledging the significance of the opportunities squandered during the match.

Despite valiant efforts from Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran to bolster the team’s total, Rahul acknowledged that even a higher score would have been insufficient to thwart SunRisers Hyderabad’s relentless pursuit of victory.

“But even if we would have got 240, they could have chased it as well,” conceded Rahul, acknowledging the formidable challenge posed by their opponents’ formidable batting lineup.
