Khaleel Khursheed Ahmed, the left-arm medium pace bowler from Rajasthan who is considered to be the future power of the Indian pace bowling attack is currently In Australia to enhance his bowling skills under the guidance of the Australian greats.
Khaleel has been a constant performer for India at the U-19 level taking 12 wickets in 3 matches including 3 for 29 in the Tri-Nation U-19 tournament against in Sri Lanka in Colombo which earned him a place in 2016 U-19 World Cup squad. He was a regular member of the team but couldn’t perform well.
Since then he was training under the watchful eyes of former India legend Rahul Dravid who is the head coach of the India U-19 squad. Khaleel was bought by Delhi Daredevils in the IPL auction 0f 2016 for Rs 10 Lakh.
Currently, Khaleel is in Australia training under qualified coaches his bowling speed and skills. He recently posted a photo of him on social media, where he wrote, “Today we had the biomechanical 3D test. I bowled around 144 kmph. I really felt happy for the rhythm and the speed generated. This test was conducted at the National Cricket Centre, Brisbane (Australia cricket Academy).”
Khaleel sounded happy to increase his bowling speed and looked more physically strong in the picture. The Rajasthan boy will be keen to prove his worth in the upcoming domestic season for Rajasthan and the 2018 Indian Premier League.
