The rumours of KL Rahul dating Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty has often been the talk of the town. Fans have often seen both sharing social media interactions that often go viral. While the two are rumoured to be seeing each other, neither have confirmed that they are a couple.

While the puzzle regarding their relationship status continues Rahul again left an adorable comment on Athiya’s new Instagram post. The actress shared a mirror selfie on social media platform Instagram, where she is seen donning a swimsuit.

KL Rahul replied with a heart emoji and wrote “jefa”. Soon Instagram users confessed the meaning of the word and commented that is Spanish for “boss”.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time when the two have hinted about them being a couple. Earlier this year on KL Rahul’s 28th birthday, Athiya shared an Instagram post wishing him and referred to him as her ‘favourite person’.

Also, in one of the post the two posed together in a phone booth and captioned the post as “Hello, Devi prasad….?”, the famous line from the classic movie Hera Pheri. This had everyone in splits including Suniel Shetty who himself reacted to the picture with three laughing emojis.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul will return to action in the upcoming season of the Indian premier league. The 28-year-old for the first time in his career will be leading the Kings XI Punjab franchise in the United Arab Emirates. In the 2018 IPL auction, the elegant batsman was picked by the KXIP franchise in the IPL auction for a winning bid of Rs.11 Crores.

Since then, Rahul has gone from strength to strength and has taken his game to another level. In the 67 matches that he has played in his IPL career, he has amassed 1977 runs at an average of 42 and strike rate of 138. IPL 2020 will be contested between September 19- November 10 in the gulf of the UAE.
