At nets, the Indian captain Virat Kohli was caught rolling his arms over the ball. The Indian Cricket team looks one of the favourites to lift the ICC World Cup 2019. They have a strong batting line up comprising of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli.

With a brilliant century against Bangladesh in the warm-up game, KL Rahul looks the favourite to seal the number 4 spot. The experienced MS Dhoni would be coming at number 5. Kedar Jadhav who did not feature in the first two warm-up games might be fit for the first game. Hardik Pandya completes the lineup.

The Indian bowling line up looks solid with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar. They have two top quality spinners in the form of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal who have performed well in tandem. Ravindra Jadeja is the third spinner included in the squad and could be selected in the playing XI for the first match against South Africa on 5th June at Southampton.

For the past 2 years, the Indian team is performing brilliantly and their performance on England soil speak about themselves. Men in Blue won the Champions Trophy 2013, reached the finals of Champions Trophy 2017. In this year’s edition, the Indian team would be looking to lift their 3rd World Cup title. The Indian team won World Cup in 1983 and 2011.
