Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are the two Indian batsmen in the top 10 ICC T20I rankings. The latest rankings were released after the T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The Kiwis won the three-match series 2-1 over their rivals. The Indian skipper moved up to the seventh spot, with 697 rating points, on the list while KL Rahul retained his third position with a rating of 816.
Meanwhile, England batsman Dawid Malan is the top-ranked batsmen with 195 rating points. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam follows him closely at number two with 820 points. Seifert, who was named player of the series with the high point being a career-best 84 not out off 63 balls in the second match in Hamilton, had a previous highest ranking of 32nd in August this year.

Tim Southee Achieves Career Best Ratings In ICC T20I Rankings
Meanwhile, in the ICC T20I rankings for bowlers, Tim Southee has achieved his career-best ratings of 636 points and is placed seventh. The table is led by two Afghanistan spinners Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Adil Rashid (700) and Adam Zampa (685) are placed third and fourth respectively. No Indian bowler has managed to break into the top 10 as per the recent ICC T20I rankings for bowlers.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul both played a key role in India’s T20I series win over Australia recently. After losing the ODI series 2-1, India bounced back to win the T20I series 2-1.
Virat Kohli has now returned back after India’s loss in the first test in Adelaide. KL Rahul will be replacing him in the batting line-up. Whether he bats at number four or at the top order is still a mystery. Meanwhile, former cricketers are backing Ajinkya Rahane to bat at number four in Kohli’s absence. The Boxing-Day test starts from December 26.
