Mandeep Evokes Memories Of Him, Kohli & Gayle Dancing To Bhangra

Mandeep Evokes Memories Of Him, Kohli And Gayle Dancing To Bhangra: Which has been the most exhilarating team off the field in the nine-year long history of the Indian Premier League? While there may be a toss-up between RCB and KKR for the answer to the aforementioned question, the after match parties and animated celebrations in the dressing room will keep RCB ahead of the rest of the teams in the pecking order.

The conjecture was fortified whena video from the RCB archives featuring Mandeep Singh, ViratKohli and Chris Gayle grooving to a Punjabi tune and performingthe bhangra spread like wildfire on various social media platforms on Tuesday.

The video demonstrating the trio’s boisterous celebration was recently shared by Mandeep on his Instagramaccount whose caption read, ‘’What a master class by these two last night @virat.kohli @chrisgayle333 #amazing..#viratkohli you are above world class#hatsoff #bhangrafromlastseason #goodmemories#endbande’’.

Draped in red tees, Mandeep is seen performing the bhangra with his RCB skipper ViratKohli and their Jamaican powerhouse Chris Gayle in the video (although it will require a detailed analysis to ascertain whether Gayle is doing the ‘bhangra’ or showcasing his Caribbean dance moves). Mandeep was perhaps stimulated to post the video from last season after witnessingKohli’s and Gayle’s exploits against Kings XI Punjab at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on 18th May, 2016.
Batting first in a rain curtailed game, Gayle (73 off 32 balls) and Kohli (113 off 50 balls) helped RCB post a mammoth total of 211/3 on the board from 15 overs. In reply, the visitors were reduced to a mere 120/9 before rain curbed the game once and for all after the completion of the 14th over.

The mood is upbeat in the RCB camp as is evident from their astounding run of form of late. After making a miraculous recovering from a stage where they needed four consecutive wins from as many matches to make it to the playoffs, Kohli’s men find themselves in the final where they will be up against the winner of the second Qualifier (between Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday. And if the men in ‘red and black’ manage to lay their hands on the IPL trophy for the first time, you can be rest assured that the social media will be flooded with several such ecstatic videos.
Here’s the much talked about video..
