The entire cricketing fraternity is waiting for the high intense clash between India and Pakistan at Manchester tomorrow. As both the teams have limited their number of bilateral series, it”s only during the tournaments like these where audience witness the battle. This has been the primary reason why fans are so pumped up for the game. Not just the fans but even cricket analysts and experts are eagerly waiting for the clash to begin.
Michael Vaughan, the former English skipper has named his all-time combined Indo-Pak XI ahead of the clash. Vaughan has been one of the most active analysts on Twitter on his predictions as well as opinions regarding team combinations and what not.
As a part of the top order, he included master Sachin Tendulkar and explosive Virender Sehwag. It is to be noted that both of them played a good role in decimating the opponents in the victorious 2011 World Cup. His middle-order included the likes of present Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Javed Miandad. He had no hesitation in including MS Dhoni as the skipper for this combined XI.
The present Pakistani Prime Minister and the skipper of 1992 World Cup being the sole all-rounder the side, his selections of bowlers looked threatening. It comprised of Waqar Younis, Jasprit Bumrah, Wasim Akram. Anil Kumble is the only spinner for the side. Vaughan tweeted this squad in his twitter account.
However, a lot of fans took a dig at him for not including a few of their favourite players. Few of the player”s names asked by the fans were Shahid Afridi, Kapil Dev and Saeed Anwar.
