Mohammad Amir picks his best batsman in World Cricket

Fast bowler Mohammad Aamir has chosen Virat Kohli as the best batsman in contemporary times. He was questioned by a fan on Twitter, “Who is the best batsman in the world according to you?” to which he replied Virat Kohli.

Another fan asked him to pick the best batsman among Fab 4. Aamir once again went with Kohli. He said they all are good but personally he would go with Kohli.

Virat Kohli and Mohammad Aamir are seen to be sharing good relationship off the field. After Aamir came back from his ban, Kohli wished him luck for his comeback. During the T20 World Cup 2016, Kohli gifted Aamir a bat.

Kohli has been Pakistan”s biggest nemesis barring the December 2012 series when he went through a rough patch, especially in T20Is. In the 6 T20Is he has played against Pakistan he averages whopping 84 and also has been Man of the match thrice.

In 12 ODIS against Pakistan, he has scored 459 runs at an average of 45.9. His highest score in ODI cricket has also come against Pakistan at Dhaka, 183 off 148 in March 2012.

It is great to see India”s best batsman and Pakistan”s best fast bowler having mutual respect for each other. As a cricket lover, one would hope they lock horns against each other in test cricket, which will probably be the fiercest contest between bat and ball.
