The left-arm fast bowler from Pakistan Mohammad Amir has been blessed with a baby girl ahead of the much awaited Independence Cup which will be played between Pakistan and a combined World XI. The pacer will not be a part of the Pakistan squad for this historic tournament as he is currently in England with his wife Nargis Khatun.
International cricket is all set to return to the land of Pakistan after a gap of eight years and the fans are quite excited about it. The World XI led by Faf Du Plessis will play three T20 Internationals starting on Tuesday. The others two matches will be played on September 13 and 15 respectively. The jersey of the new team and the Independence Cup will be revealed ahead of the first game.
The 25-year-old cricketer was preparing for this series when he had left for England with his wife as she was due to give birth to a new child. Amir took to social media to inform about his newly born baby. He thanked God for blessing him with a girl. He posted a picture of him along with newly born child and wrote, “Shukar Allhumdulilah blessed with the Rehmat of Allah Mashallah.” They named their baby girl “Minsa.”

As soon as the post was made, blessings started pouring in from all parts of the world. His fellow teammates congratulated him for becoming a father of a new born child. His female counterparts like Kainat Imtiaz also took to twitter to congratulate the new parents.

Mohammad Amir has been in sensational form since he made a comeback to the national squad after serving a ban for five years for his involvement in spot fixing case. He was lethal against India in Champions Trophy final picking up three important wickets eventually taking Pakistan over the victory line. He was also continued his good for his county side Essex picking a five wicket haul in an innings.
