Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif announced his retirement from all formats of the game today. Kaif represented India in 13 tests and 125 ODI”s and was remembered for his effective knocks down the order. His stellar fielding efforts played a vital role in clinching several victories.
Retirement on a special day
It is to be noted that Kaif and Yuvraj”s 121 run partnership helped India to clinch the Natwest series in 2002. That specific match where India chased a record target of 326 at Lord”s is considered to be one of the finest moments in the history of Indian cricket.
The match was played on the same date 16 years ago and his retirement note said that he feels happy to make a call on this memorable day.

Mohammad Kaif scored over 3300 runs in international cricket with three centuries and twenty half centuries. In IPL, he represented three franchises Rajasthan, Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
