Pakistan pacer Mohammed Amir is one of the biggest attractions in the PSL. He was with the Karachi Kings in the 2020 season of the tournament where they went onto become the eventual champions. Amir has welcomed players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma to play the league and has that he would love to bowl to them. Both of them are matchwinners for India, and their participation will only improve the standard of the league.
Talking to Cricket Pakistan, Mohammed Amir was asked if he would love to play against the likes of Kohli & Rohit in the PSL. Mohammed Amir replied to the question saying that he would love to bowl against them and that sports and politics of the two countries should not be mixed.

“We have always said, as players, that cricket or any other sport, and politics should be kept separate. I love challenges like bowling to top-notch batsmen and it would have been great to bowl to them [Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma],” Amir responded.

He further said that T20 leagues like PSL and the IPL will only improve the players of both countries and that players of both countries should be allowed to play in both the leagues.
“Be it the IPL or PSL, it would be beneficial for players, from Pakistan and India, playing in these competitions in terms of exposure and quality of cricket,” Mohammed Amir added.
Pakistan players were a part of the inaugural IPL season in 2008. 11 Pakistan players including Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Asif, and Shoaib Malik were part of various franchises. India and Pakistan do not play bilateral series any more due to cross-border tension between the two nations. The last bilateral series between the two teams was played back in 2012-2013 season.
