With 240 points on the table , the side is seated comfortably at the top. A complete team effort is one of the major reasons behind India’s performance in the recent times.

Shami, one of the spearheads in the bowling department expressed his happiness on the same. He said “Indian conditions were always known to be spin friendly. Now we have that power, among our pacers, that we can make batsmen dance with the bat”, in an interview with Wriddhiman Saha after the game.

This win means that India has won 11 test series on a row at home conditions. The last time India lost a test in India is the 1st game against Australia couple of years ago.
