Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season has been a season to forget for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Chennai franchise has won just four matches out of 13 matches played. They have lost nine matches this year which is most by them in any IPL season.

CSK fans too have shown immense support to their team in their bad phase. One CSK hard-core fan penned down a heartful letter to reveal his admiration for MS Dhoni. He described how Dhoni has made a huge impact on his life. The fan also talked about the learnings he got from the life of the World Cup-winning captain.

The most surprising thing was that MS Dhoni read the framed letter himself. He wrote some lovely words for the fan in that letter. Sharing the post on Twitter, CSK captioned, “Words from the 💛 framed for life & signed with 7⃣ove! #SuperFans #WhistlePodu #Yellove 🦁”

MS Dhoni has been in good form in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. He has scored 206 runs at a decent strike rate of 129. Dhoni played some crucial knocks for CSK during the collapse against Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. He has also played some small impactful cameos this season against LSG and DC.

“Jadeja firmly remains in the CSK’s scheme of things” – Chennai CEO

The biggest focal point of this year’s CSK campaign has been the captaincy. Ravindra Jadeja handed over the CSK captaincy to MS Dhoni in the midseason citing the reason for focusing on his batting. Jadeja was also ruled out of the remaining matches of IPL 2022 due to injury. This led to several rumours of a rift between Jadeja and CSK management.

However, CSK CEO  Vishwanathan completely denied any sort of rift and said, “What I can tell you is that from the management side, there has been no problem and whatever is there on social media, I’m not aware. Jadeja firmly remains in the CSK’s scheme of things for the future, always.”

Chennai will play their final league game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Friday at the Brabourne Stadium.
