The IPL Governing Council has reinstated a rule that allows Dhoni to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as an uncapped player. This would help him extend his IPL career and allow CSK more financial flexibility to build their squad. According to Abu Dhabi Cricket CEO Matthew Boucher, the T10 format is expanding rapidly, and many cricket enthusiasts are eager to see Dhoni participate in this format once he retires from the IPL.
