Mumbai have named Team India international Shreyas Iyer as the skipper as they announced their squad for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. The domestic 50-over competition will run in six cities across the country from February 20.
Iyer takes over the baton from Suryakumar Yadav, under whose leadership Mumbai had a difficult outing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where they bowed out from the group stage. Young batsman Prithvi Shaw, who will look to find his form back, has been named as the vice-captain.
