Mumbai Indians Achieves New High With Highest Brand Value In IPL 2020

Mumbai Indians dominated IPL 2020 both on and off the field. The gun MI side won their 5th IPL crown in the UAE and also achieved a new high by registering the highest brand value. Mumbai Indians is undoubtedly one of the most IPL franchise and has a stronghold in the sponsorship market.

The 5-time IPL champions marked its stronghold in the sponsoring business by registering a 7.1% spike in its brand value, according to global brand valuation agency- Brand Finance. Rohit Sharma & Co were the only franchise who expanded their market value valued at USD 70.3 mn, according to the study.

Mumbai Indians ahead of everyone in the brand market

The marquee franchise Mumbai Indians was also the biggest scorer in the Brand Strength Index (BSI) with an impressive BSI score of 76.9 out of 100 and a corresponding AA+ brand strength rating, as highlighted by the study. This shows the dominance of the defending champions and consistency in high brand investment, stakeholder trust and the overall performance of the team on the field.

The name of Mumbai Indians continues to rise and they keep setting the bar extremely high for other IPL franchises to follow. The Ambani owned franchise ticks all the boxes as they create a spectacle with different events and initiatives for all the Mumbai fans. Their motto of ‘One family’ truly suits them as they take fans closer to their favorite stars during the time of IPL.
