Watch – Nathan Lyon’s Incredible Turning Delivery Leaves Fan Amused

Australian spinner Nathan Lyon produced an absolute scorcher of a turning delivery on the 5th ball of the 41st over of day two. The turn of the delivery left everyone in splits as people on the social media looked to find the difference in the degree of that particular delivery to others.

Australian bowlers didn’t have quite an eventful day 2 as Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane’s century with the assistance of Ravindra Jadeja at the other end steered India past Australia’s total giving them an 82 run lead to cheer for at the day of day 2.

India lost the wickets of Shubman Gill for 45 and Cheteshwar Pujara for 17 in quick succession only to bring Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane in the crease to notch up an unbeaten 104, who was then joined by Ravindra Jadeja with whom the pair ended up in a 104 run stand at the end of day 2.

Something incredible happened as one-off Nathan Lyon’s delivery produced an incredible turn which left people in splits, fans were so shocked to see the huge turn that it actually prompted them to ask people to measure the turn by using a protractor. However, Lyon has been so far unsuccessful with the ball struggling to pick wickets.

After Hanuma Vihari’s departure, Ajinkya Rahane united with Rishabh Pant who in his knock of 29 runs played aggressive cricket which helped Rahane settled in to notch up a big score at the end of the end.

India’s substitute captain stayed not out on 104 while Jadeja scored an unbeaten 40 as the pair posted an unbeaten remain of 104 runs for the 6th wicket to help the hosts arrive at 277/4 and take a solid lead of 82 runs. Meanwhile, India are currently at the driver’s seat. They will hope to take a mammoth first-innings lead and bowl out Australia to level terms in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
