On Father’s Day, Rohit Sharma Posts A Cute Photo With Daughter Samaira

On Sunday, June 18, in honor of Father’s Day, Team India captain Rohit Sharma posted a sweet photo of himself and his daughter Samaira.

The father and daughter pair can be seen in the photo taking in the scenery while on a family vacation.

Following the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 final match between England and Australia at The Oval on June 11, Rohit has been spending quality time with his family.

On his official social media account, he has been posting images of the same thing.

The 36-year-old posted a photo of himself and his daughter Samaira on his official Instagram account on Sunday.

Rohit Sharma added the following caption to the image when he uploaded it:

“Happy Father’s Day, today and always.”

Samaira, who was born on December 30, 2018, is well-liked by cricket fans. Her father’s famous daughter has appeared in a number of viral videos.

Rohit, meanwhile, performed poorly in the WTC final, scoring just 15 and 43 in both innings.

As India lost the match by a score of 209 runs, his captaincy also received criticism.

Many critics and fans disapproved of Team India’s choice to leave Ravichandran Ashwin out of the starting XI.

Graeme Smith on Rohit Sharma’s poor performance: “The pressure of a leader never goes away.”

According to former South African captain Graeme Smith, once Rohit Sharma resumes scoring runs, the pressure on him will decrease.

Smith claims that rather than his leadership, Rohit is having more batting-related problems. In an interview, he stated to TOI:

“Your own personal performance is one of a captain’s biggest challenges. Having a leadership role always comes with pressure. Probably all Rohit needs to do is relax.

“His own form probably hasn’t been at a level consistently. He is going through a rough patch, and frequently that individual performance can just calm things down a little bit.

We examine the IPL over a number of years, as well as the WTC championship game.

“Nobody is disparaging his leadership or captaincy. It just stands to reason that if he can put some outstanding marks behind him, it will lessen the pressure on his own performance.”

The Indian captain is reportedly expected to take a break during some of the upcoming West Indies tour.

From July 12 to August 13, India will take part in a series that includes two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.
