In the wake of India versus Pakistan’s World Cup match, Pakistan media has released it’s promotional clip, where they are seen taking a dig at Abhinandan Varthaman.

Abhinandan Varthaman is a wing-commander in the Indian Air Force. He was held captive in Pakistan for 60 hours in the Balakot Air Strike. Here, he can be seen telling the Pakistan officials, “I am not supposed to be telling you.”

Abhinandan was then released by the Pakistan Government as a “peace gesture”, quoted by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan.

On 16th June 2019, the stage is all set to witness a classic India-Pakistan rivalry match. The outing is at Old Trafford, Manchester.

It is the most anticipated match of the tournament as almost 2.5L tickets were asked for which is way more than the stadium’s capacity.

Amidst the competitive nature of the two countries, the media of both countries has released it’s promotional video advertisement for the encounter.

While India has released a mocking video a father’s day special, Pakistan has taken a jibe on Indian braveheart Abhinandan Varthaman.

Here is the Indian Promotional Advertisement

The ad produced by Star Sports India mocks Pakistan for losing all their encounters in a World Cup against them and also implying India to be Pakistan’s father.

In turn, watch Pakistan’s Jazz TV advertisement.

Here the man can be seen imitating wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman. His reply of “I am not supposed to tell you that sir” is a parody of the bold reply given by the Indian commander.

The advertisement has surely plucked a sensitive string in many Indian hearts.

An India Pakistan match is always a great match to watch. With both countries supremely passionate about cricket, the off-field rivalry is also something very interesting.
