Peter Siddle Names MS Dhoni And Sachin Tendulkar In His ”Best Of Enemies XI”

So far, we have come across the former cricketers and analysts naming their all-time best XI in a certain format or all-time best XI of a certain country. But, the fast bowler from Australia Peter Siddle has got a unique idea, as he picked ”Best of Enemies XI”. Perhaps, free time in the time of lockdown has given him the time to come up with this new idea.

In a video released by Cricket Australia, the fast bowler picked the Best XI of opponents he has played against and the list featured greats of the game.

Sachin Tendulkar to bat at number three –

His Enemies XI include four South Africans, three England cricketers and a couple of Indians and Sri Lanka cricketers. From India, he chose the former skipper MS Dhoni and the all-time leading run-scorer Sachin Tendulkar. Incidentally, the Little Master was Siddle’s first-ever wicket in Test cricket, back in 2008.

He named Alastair Cook of England and Graeme Smith of South Africa as openers of his side while Kumar Sangakkara at number 3. It makes a complete left-handed dominant top-order while Sachin Tendulkar will follow the trio at number four position.

At number five, he chose the superman AB de Villiers, who will be followed by the all-time greatest all-rounder Jacques Kallis. The only skipper in the world cricket to lift all ICC Trophies MS Dhoni will do the wicket-keeping role for this team.

Coming to the fast bowling department, he named the all-time best duo of England James Anderson and Stuart Broad as his frontline fast bowlers. They are backed by South Africa’s legendary paceman Dale Steyn. He finished the chart with Rangana Herath, who is the lone specialist spinner.
